Today we’re releasing our second single from our upcoming album, which will be out next year. The single is named after the ancient deity Bes, who is said to be the god of music. Bes is the protector of people’s homes often appearing as a soldier ready to launch an attack on any approaching evil.

Today we’ve released our first single from our upcoming album: Kabul.
It’s the first time we’re releasing music as a quartet and can’t wait to share the result with you.

We’re looking much forward to performing with these three amazing singers: Sep 21st Lucky Lo, Sep 22nd Teitur and Sep 24th Mariam The Believer. We will play a mix of their and our material – and perhaps some brand new tunes will be created. It will take place at Vega in Copenhagen.

We will play a set ‘Under The Oak’ at Bloom – a new Copenhagen festival about art, science and nature. They have picked our song The Grass by the Roses for the official video.
In the beginning of March 2022 we recorded the band’s 8th album. It will be the 1st as a 4tet. The first single should be released summer 2022.

On the 28th of May, 2021 we released the album “Leap” in collaboration with Aarhus Jazz Orchestra.
The album has received great reviews already. Amongst others a five star review in Kristeligt Dagblad.
The tracks “Myanmar” and “Dovetail” were added to a few playlists – including Amazon’s “Fresh Jazz” playlist and Spotify’s “State of Jazz” and “21st Century Jazz”.
The album is available on all streaming services here and Bandcamp here – and we’re working on making it available on vinyl as well.
